Johnnie T. Melia founded his family-owned and operated moving business in 1969, and more than 55 years later, Johnnie T. Melia Moving & Storage 2nd generation company still operates using the same concept – that moving is stressful enough. A moving company shouldn’t make the process even more stressful. And from the start, we have made it a priority to bring together experts in the field to ensure the company is always a leader in the field.   • Long distance and interstate moves – In addition to long distance moves, we can also help families and professionals transition to homes much further away. Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi are just a handful of the Texas cities we service, and beyond as well, with interstate moves that can take place in any state in the country.
  • Packing, loading and unloading services – We are full service movers, which means we can execute any part of a move, from packing and inventorying to unpacking at the new home. Packing, loading and driving services take the hard work away from the family and put it in the hands of trained, experienced professionals. Such services can greatly reduce the physical and time strain on a family, and make moving a much more pleasant affair.

  • International moves – Moving to another country is a complicated process, and if it isn’t handled properly, a family may be delayed by weeks, or go without their belongings entirely. A basic moving service won’t have the experience to move people overseas. We can take care of everything on both ends, so all a family has to do is travel.
